RAMADAN, A NEW WAY TO SEE THE WORLD.

In our cultural exchange with the Turkey, Johan Bernal wanted to do oruç ,a important tradition in this country. For this experience our teacher guided him to do it correctly.

But first, what does Ramadán means?

More 1000 million Muslims do Ramadan for a month, each year Ramadan cycle changes, this is advanced every fifteen days after the last cycle. during this month, muslims can not eat, drink, smoke or have sex , that means while the sun is in day. They want to be cleaned these days, only until night can enjoy of a special dinner.

The physical, mental and spiritual purity is the most important thing in those days, which is why they fast and pray for this.

One of the most representative food of Ramadan is the soup "Harira" this soup is made with meat, vegetables, chickpeas and spices. Teacher in his house prepared Johan's food, and then Johan started to do Ramadan.

This is sahur that teacher prepared to Johan, this is based on eggs, tomato, onion and Turkish spices, banana, harira soup, vegetables and avocado.
